Reflector seeks information after reports of newspaper removals on campus

The Reflector staff has received reports that several stacks of the Friday, Feb. 22, issue have been removed in large quantities from various locations on the Mississippi State University campus. Those who have any information or have witnessed an occurrence regarding this are encouraged to notify the staff at 325-7905 or by e-mail at editor@reflector.msstate.edu.
Any person may pick up a single issue of The Reflector for free. Additional copies may be obtained from the Meyer Student Media Center for 25 cents.

Keep on this story, Reflector . . . It may be all a simple mistake, but it's not too paranoid to suspect that Doc's minions are doing all they can to keep the lid on the stuff printed on Friday. (Continued…)

Also don't forget guys. The Reflector's policy of "take one but others are required to be paid for." That policy was started when other newspapers came on campus, and was started as a method of preventing removals of papers. (Continued…)

I cannot believe that anyone would think of stealing a large number of newspapers. I mean, it seems very pointless that a person would even think to do that. (Continued…)

Oh stop blaming Doc for everything! Perhaps it was a some art students who needed newspapers for a project. Or some high school students bored and were looking for something to do. (Continued…)

The issue, "Fed up," isn't that "nothing was going to be done with" the issues. Those issues, while in the racks, are property of The Reflector. Students taking stacks of papers equals theft. (Continued…)

"Fed Up:" wrong. do you actually believe Doc would admit lifting or having someone lift the missing copies of The Reflector?

It was probably a bunch of kids playing a prank get over yourselves and stop blaming the the president of the university. Im sure he has better things to do than to pull some newspaper off the stands that he knows will be up again in less than a week. (Continued…)
