In memoriam: Steven Hogan and Lora DeFore

Bulldog family remembers two members tragically lost in the past week.

Communication instructor Lora J. DeFore, 49, died Monday at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson after battling cancer since 2005.

Hogan, an Aramark/MSU Dining employee, died at Oktibbeha County Hospital after a car accident Sunday morning around 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of Hwy 12 and Smith Road. (0) comments

University to host camporee this weekend

This weekend, Mississippi State University will host hundreds of Boy Scouts from the Pushmataha Area Council for a camporee. The council is made up of troops from Clay, Lowndes, Oktibbeha, Webster, Noxubee, Monroe, Winston, Chickasaw, Choctaw and Calhoun Counties. (1) comment
