University of Memphis student Richard Paige was charged with attempted second-degree murder Wednesday after an altercation at a keg party ended with gunshots.

According to the police report, Paige was hosting a keg party at his house on Autumn Street when he asked the victim, Michael Schaefgen, to leave.

The Student Government Association, along with the ASU Legislative Senate Committee, participated in the Focus the Nation's Nationwide Clean Energy Forum on Thursday. This was the first official open discussion on clean energy efforts and potentials. Panelists participating in the forum included Barbara Warner, visiting assistant professor of political science, Jennifer Bouldin, director ecotoxicology research facility and assistant professor of environmental biology and Shawn Lamb, green careers training manager at Nordex.
