The Red Wolves dropped to 2-7 overall with a 1-4 league mark.
Florida Atlanta picked up their first home win on the campaign, improving to 3-6 with a 3-2 Sun Belt record.

After losing to Louisiana-Lafayette last Saturday in front of their home crowd, head coach Steve Roberts and the Red Wolves have set their sights for Florida-Atlantic in the second of five Sun Belt Conference games.
Despite the back-to-back losses against Louisville and Louisiana-Lafayette, Roberts maintained that the atmosphere in practice this week has been positive, and the team is playing well.

The University of Memphis received two National Letters of Intent yesterday from local high school seniors Joe Jackson and Chris Crawford, starting off what first-year coach Josh Pastner called a "stellar recruiting class."
